My aim for this blog is to filter through the ‘buzz’ books, the ubiquitously tipped debut authors or feverishly anticipated returns, the ‘must read’ lists for the month or the year. To dive into the literary or commercial books that get 5* across the board and try and to stretch those 5 stars out a little.

 

So it goes without saying that any book featured on this blog is probably worth reading, but if you’re just a normal human being with only a few Precious Stolen Moments to read, perhaps start with the ones that make 5*s even here.

These are all beautiful, inspiring, transporting, wonderful books in their own way. Above all I want to celebrate Those Precious Stolen Moments when you sneak a chance to opt out from work, family and commitments and just lose yourself in a story. Even if only for a moment.
